Position Summary: We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Vice President of Marketing to lead our marketing function. This role will be pivotal in shaping the future of our brand in both digital and traditional arenas, blending creativity with strategy to honor our legacy while driving innovation. The VP will oversee the marketing function as a strategic business unit, driving growth, profitability, and brand equity. This role will bring a clear vision, analytical rigor, creative expertise, and a deep understanding of our customer to develop and execute marketing strategies that enhance both retail and online performance.

Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to drive traffic, sales, and brand awareness across all retail and e-commerce channels. Act as the champion for the customer, using insights to guide decision-making and positioning the brand for long-term success.

Business Management: Lead the marketing function like a business, setting measurable goals, managing budgets, and optimizing marketing ROI. Collaborate with leadership to align marketing strategies with company objectives and revenue goals.

Customer Understanding: Become the expert on our customer, using data, surveys, and market research to identify preferences, behaviors, and emerging trends. Leverage these insights to refine the customer journey and tailor campaigns that resonate with target audiences.

Digital Marketing Expertise: Drive e-commerce growth through paid search, SEO, social media, email marketing, and influencer collaborations. Oversee performance metrics, campaign analytics, and digital marketing optimizations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

Creative Direction: Ensure the brand's creative execution aligns with its identity, values, and customer expectations. Guide creative teams in developing compelling content, advertising, and storytelling across all platforms.

Traditional Marketing Oversight: Maintain a working knowledge of TV, radio, and catalog marketing to effectively incorporate these channels into integrated campaigns. Evaluate the performance of traditional platforms and ensure their alignment with modern digital efforts.

Public Relations & Influencer Marketing: Lead public relations initiatives, including media outreach and partnerships, to enhance brand reputation. Develop and expand influencer marketing programs to increase brand visibility and customer engagement.

Team Leadership & Collaboration: Lead, mentor, and inspire a cross-functional marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability. Collaborate with internal departments, including merchandising, operations, and IT, to align marketing efforts with overall business operations

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in marketing, with a strong emphasis on digital marketing and retail/e-commerce. Proven track record of driving measurable growth and ROI through integrated marketing campaigns.

Skills: Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and drive decisions. Strong vision for brand strategy combined with a creative eye for compelling marketing execution. Expertise in digital marketing platforms, influencer partnerships, and PR strategies. Working knowledge of traditional marketing channels like TV, radio, and direct mail. Leadership and team management experience, with a collaborative and results-driven mindset.
