Responsibilities
Position Summary:
The Creative Expression Specialist plans and conducts workshops for a variety of art forms and contemplative programs. They engage with a wide range of participants to help them enhance physical, emotional, or spiritual healing. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, planning and facilitating workshops as well as maintaining needed materials and supplies. The candidate must be able to relate well with participants and members of the general public with compassion and understanding. Possess the qualities associated with critical thinking, problem-solving, and patience. Skills required include having artistic abilities, creativity, imagination, and enthusiasm. The ability to provide a trusting, open, kindhearted atmosphere that encourages learning and participation, as well as excellent interpersonal communication and listening skills, is essential. The ability to prepare a core curriculum base which focuses on the mission of the Art & Spirituality Center is required.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent education or experience
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
- Previous experience leading group activities
Pay Range
$23.00 - $29.05 /hour
