Job Title: Technical Writer V Location: Cupertino, CA 95014 Duration: 6 Months Contract Job Description: Client is seeking an experienced technical writer for a 6 month contract to work in a cross-functional team on a hardware industry standard speciation. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a public-facing document and collaborate with engineers in Client and other technology companies. Responsibilities •Edit and re-write existing standards documents for brevity and clarity •Attend regular meetings with SMEs •Initiate and conduct document reviews for accuracy and adherence to style guides •Manage deliverables and deadlines Qualifications: •BS/MS in engineering (electronics or CS) with at least 10 years of work experience •Proficiency with English grammar and punctuation •Strong writing skills •Excellent communication skills for efective teamwork •Strong organizational skills with attention to detail •Ability to work independently and self-driven •Ability to work with tight deadlines and to manage workload efficiently •Extensive experience with MSWord and applying Industry style guides Preferred •Experience writing for public standards and regulatory bodies •Design experience with hardware interfaces Campaign Code: ET_VK01
