As a
Retention Marketing Data Analyst , you will be instrumental in shaping and optimizing our marketing strategies by analyzing data from paid media, email campaigns, Google Cloud Platform, and other customer touchpoints. Your insights will help determine what's working, identify opportunities for improvement, and refine strategies to maximize customer retention. This role requires strong analytical skills, experience with data visualization tools such as
PowerBI , and a deep understanding of retention-focused marketing metrics.
Key Responsibilities : Data Collection & Integration : Pull together data from various marketing platforms, including paid media (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.), email campaigns (Eloqua, Mailchimp, etc.), CRM systems, and Google Cloud Platform to create comprehensive reports. Analysis & Insights : Analyze marketing performance across channels, focusing on retention efforts. Identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in customer retention. Retention Metrics : Focus on key retention metrics (e.g., churn rate, customer lifetime value, repeat purchase rate) to assess campaign performance and inform strategies. Data Visualization : Use data visualization tools (such as PowerBI) to create clear, visually appealing, and easily interpretable reports and dashboards for stakeholders. Reporting : Provide regular performance reports with actionable insights to marketing and leadership teams to help guide decision-making. Optimization Recommendations : Based on data analysis, recommend optimizations and strategies to improve retention and enhance marketing campaigns. Collaboration : Work closely with marketing, product, and sales teams to ensure alignment of retention efforts and successful execution of marketing initiatives. Required Skills & Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in
Marketing ,
Data Analytics ,
Statistics , or a related field. 3-5 years of experience
in data analysis, particularly in marketing with a focus on
customer retention . Proficiency with
data visualization tools
(e.g., PowerBI, Tableau) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, data manipulation). Strong knowledge of
marketing performance metrics
related to customer retention (e.g., retention rate, churn rate, customer lifetime value). Ability to work with
large datasets
and extract meaningful insights to guide decision-making. Experience with
data integration
and pulling data from multiple sources (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM systems, email platforms, Google Cloud Platform). Strong
attention to detail
and excellent problem-solving abilities. Excellent
communication skills
with the ability to present complex data clearly to non-technical audiences. Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with
SQL
or similar data query languages. Familiarity with
email marketing platforms
(e.g., Eloqua, Mailchimp) and
paid media analytics
(e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads). Experience with
Google Cloud Platform
for data analysis and reporting. Familiarity with
customer segmentation
and
journey mapping .
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $47.00 to $52.15 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
