Job Description
We are looking for a kitchen designer to join their team in Armonk, NY.
Responsibilities
Meet clients and measure interior spaces accurately for designing and ordering cabinets
Create kitchen design with information collected from clients, including hand drawings and renders
Prepare detailed proposals with descriptions and pricing
Schedule and conduct meetings and presentations with clients
Place orders and liaise with factory
Provide coverage of showroom to meet with potential walk-in clients
Education and Experience
2 + years of sales and design experience with a proven track record of driving sales
Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Interior Design Preferred
High-end retail experience a plus
Qualifications
Knowledge of interior design space planning and residential construction
Ability to read architectural plans and prepare drawings and renders for design presentations
Proficient at site measuring
Ability to handle several projects simultaneously
Working knowledge of 20/20 and Salesforce a strong plus
Computer literate - Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
Proactive, able to multitask, organized
Outgoing and personable; skilled at interacting with clients
Excellent time management and communication skills
