THE ROLE OF A COREPOWER YOGA STUDIO MANAGER

As a Studio Manager (SM), you live your power by delivering the world-class CorePower Yoga experience including leading the operations of a yoga studio, coaching and inspiring the CPY classroom experience, creating a premium sensory in-studio yoga experience (clean and safe) for the community, and training a team of world-class yoga instructors and mindful leaders. You build, grow, and lead a team of teachers and studio experience team members who collectively deliver CPY-winning and foster a Core Values culture. You work alongside your District Manager to deliver results and sustained growth towards all current company and studio-level goals.

Health and Safety Management in The Studio

  1. Lead, execute and train all current CPY Smart Health Protocol and Center for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines in the studio.
  2. Take ownership of the functionality of your studio and the physical space, acting as a liaison between the Studio Support Center facilities and IT teams and local facilities contractors.
  3. Work with your Studio Coordinator to maintain an appropriate level of studio supplies.

Studio Presence and Guiding the Student Experience

  1. You are an ambassador of the CPY Core Values and consistently inspire, train, and coach these values in others.
  2. Commit to a minimum of 40 hours per week primarily in studio with flexibility in service of the studio.
  3. Teach a minimum of 6 aligned CPY5 classes per week.
  4. Teach CorePower Live classes as directed by your District Manager.
  5. Your leadership sets the tone for the studio’s culture.
  6. Support training and facilitation as needed of CPY programming and continuing education.

Leading the Studio Team

  1. Own all processes related to the day-to-day operations of the studio.
  2. Communicate all CorePower Yoga policies, initiatives, and protocols for all staff members.
  3. Develop, recruit, hire and retain a Core Values driven studio team.
  4. Train, develop, and provide routine feedback to your Studio Coordinator(s).
  5. Own staffing for your studio’s class and SET schedule.
  6. Consistently develop your teachers and provide regular CPY5 Review feedback.
  7. Oversee operations of the SET including recruitment, onboarding, training, and scheduling.

Grow the Business

  1. Take personal responsibility for revenue, profitability, and cultural growth of your studio.
  2. Train and inspire your full team on Black Tag Membership retention and growth goals.
  3. Partner with your District Manager in touch base meetings.
  4. Partner with the analytics team to design the best schedule for your community.
  5. Provide solution-oriented feedback to your District Manager.
  6. Expand CPY’s influence within your community and on social media.
  7. Own the retail business within your studio.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  1. Must demonstrate CorePower Yoga Core Values.
  2. Excellent oral communication skills and exceptional interpersonal skills are essential.
  3. Completion of a relevant 200-hour teacher training or Yoga Sculpt program is required.
  4. Preferred certification in every format at CPY.
  5. Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Minimum of 1 year in customer service-oriented role required.
  7. Minimum of 1 year in operations or retail leadership experience preferred.
  8. College (BA/BS) preferred.
  9. Familiar and comfortable in studio systems.
  10. Ability to build relationships with individuals with diverse personalities.
  11. Proven self-starter with ability to take on new projects.
  12. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  13. Experience in delivering actionable feedback.

THE FINE PRINT

  1. 5-6 days a week/40+ hours a week.
  2. Availability must match the needs of the business.
  3. Must be able to move around the studio space and lift up to 25 lbs.
  4. Must be able to step in to teach any class format.
