DoorDash’s mission is to grow and empower local economies. By building intelligent, last-mile delivery technology for local cities, DoorDash connects people with the local businesses they care about — helping grow businesses and the communities that support those businesses. To further this mission, we’re looking for a marketer who will sit at the intersection of growth, brand, product, and operations, to develop integrated marketing strategies for our consumer business at DoorDash. The integrated marketing team is a group of marketing generalists responsible for translating business goals into marketing strategies and serving as the general manager across the organization to bring those strategies to market. About The Role
The Consumer Integrated Marketing team is looking for a strategic, entrepreneurial, and data-driven marketer to grow DoorDash's Marketplace. As an integrated manager on the local marketing team, you will shape and own marketing strategies to drive unaided awareness and increase market share in key metro areas. Your focus will be on driving efforts to acquire new customers and win back customers who have churned from DoorDash, with the ultimate goal of converting them into loyal, long-term users. You’ll also be responsible for owning an integrated, multi-channel campaign engaging consumer, dasher, and merchant audiences to drive unaided awareness in urban areas. You’re Excited About This Opportunity Because You Will… Act as the voice of the customer in key metro areas, deeply understanding their top pain points and serving as a go-to expert on the strategic audiences in these key geos for the Marketing and Strategy & Operations organizations. Leverage consumer insights to inform marketing strategies, and then test and learn optimal ways to engage resurrected users. Serve as the “hub” of the wheel within marketing, leading cross-functionally across Brand, Creative, Retention, Strategy & Operations, Performance Marketing, Dasher, & Merchant teams (to bring the strategy to life with campaigns and initiatives across paid, owned, earned, and in-app channels). Use insights to iterate and refine future marketing initiatives. Own cross-functional leadership updates, and report out on key initiatives / campaigns. Stay informed about metro market trends and competitive dynamics to ensure campaigns are relevant and impactful. We’re Excited About You Because… 6+ years of professional experience in marketing in a corporate or startup environment, with a focus on integrated campaigns, consumer engagement, and brand growth. Strong analytical skills with experience using data to inform marketing strategies and measure performance. Ability to connect with people, foster deep relationships, and influence without authority. Fluency across the marketing mix, fully understanding marketing principles and its role across the funnel. Creative and collaborative inclination; you love working with a team and solving challenging problems in new ways. Extraordinary bias for action; you’re dependable, self-motivated, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities. Hands-on attitude and a growth mindset. Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred. Compensation The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.
In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.
