Multi Image Group (MIG) is hiring: Video Engineer in Boca Raton

Multi Image Group (MIG), a leader in producing global and experiential live meetings and events, is seeking applicants for a full-time Video Engineer position. The Video Engineer will work with a team of professionals in a world-class facility based in Boca Raton, Florida. The Video Engineer will be involved with high-end live meetings & virtual events and will be part of the team responsible for maintenance, preparation and operation of video production and presentation equipment.

Requirements:

• This is not a desk job -- Up to 3 weeks travel may be required on a monthly basis.
• Physical labor will be required to move gear from place to place.
• Must be able to act as a Video Engineer, Technical Director, and Video Director for multi-camera switching systems.
• Must be able to assist in repair and maintenance of various video equipment.
• Must be able to manage on site video crews.
• Occasional client interaction.

Qualifications:

• Must understand both HD and 4K signal flow as well as mixing multiple types of signals together.
• Must have experience with multi-screen switchers, such as the Barco E2 or the Christie Spyder.
• Must have experience with large scale and blended projection as well as LED screens.
• Must be able to work long hours when required – which includes evenings and weekends.
• Basic Vectorworks skills are a plus. Some CAD experience necessary.
• Live event experience is preferred.

• Roland V60
• Network Infrastructure Management skills are a plus
• Soldering Iron
• BNC/RF Crimper
• vMix skills are a plus
