USIM is currently seeking a Media Coordinator for our New York office. The Digital Media Coordinator supports the media team in placing, monitoring and assisting in the development of media plans. The Media Coordinator will learn USIM’s processes for creating strategy/plans, proposing, negotiating, executing and optimizing campaigns. Role Summary: The Media Coordinator will support the Media Planning team in executing and managing media buys across various platforms. This role requires a high level of proficiency in Excel, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. You will play a crucial part in ensuring accuracy in buysheets, insertion orders, and campaign tracking. Key Responsibilities: Build, update, and manage buysheets and reports using advanced Excel functions (formulas, pivots, v-lookups, and macros). Working knowledge of applying media math across offline and online media channels. Accurately process insertion orders and track their progress. Analyze data and performance metrics to optimize media plans; well-versed in various campaign KPIs. Communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors to ensure campaign alignment. Monitor and reconcile budgets, ensuring campaigns stay on track financially. Maintain accurate records of media buys and ensure compliance with contractual terms. Support ad-hoc reporting and administrative tasks as required. Qualifications: Required: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, v-lookups, and complex formulas. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 2+ years of experience in media buying or a related role is preferred but not required. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills with an emphasis on how to prioritize workload. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to multitask across different campaigns and work under high volume requests. Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage up and a collaborative mindset. Tools/Platform Experience: DCM, Google Analytics, Tableau, Tapclicks, Meta, Snapchat, Google, TikTok. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a concentration in advertising, marketing, business administration, and communications.
