Global Content Specialist (Contract) As a Global Content Specialist on a contract assignment, you will play a pivotal role in forecasting trends across fashion and beauty, food and drinks, lifestyle, and more. You will also create unique content experiences that spark joy. We’re looking for a passionate curator and editorial expert who excels at writing snappy headlines, identifying the next big thing before anyone else, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to create compelling content for our global audience. This is a 40-hour per week contract assignment based remotely in the US.
What You’ll Do: Collaborate with the global editorial team to execute editorial programming for international markets. Use data to guide content strategy across editorial surfaces, making recommendations to peers and cross-functional stakeholders to build consensus on content initiatives. Curate best-in-class, culturally sensitive, trending, evergreen, and seasonal content across the ecosystem, including fashion and beauty, food and drinks, lifestyle, and more. Write compelling headlines and descriptions to inspire engagement with content. Partner with product teams to optimize editorial content across the platform. Use knowledge of broader trend-based landscapes to guide and steer content within editorial surfaces. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring content initiatives to life and provide guidance for optimization. Use queries and internal data monitoring tools to observe how content performs across the platform.Candidate Requirements: 5+ years of experience in a content, editorial, or curation-focused role within the technology sector or a similar fast-paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Full detail oriented proficiency in English and German; proficiency in French and/or other languages is a plus. Strong presentation skills and the ability to build consensus around common ideas. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines. Well-organized with meticulous attention to detail. Familiarity with CMS applications and basic knowledge of visual communication. Strong sense of initiative and collaborative spirit. Analytical mindset that can notice and anticipate trends, especially with younger audiences (Gen Z). Passion, energy, and enthusiasm for editorial content. Experience with SQL is preferred.
