The Student Graphic Designer will play a key role in supporting the Haile College of Business’s visual communications by creating impactful and branded design materials. This position is ideal for a student looking to enhance their graphic design skills and gain real-world experience in a dynamic marketing environment. The Student Graphic Designer will work closely with the Communications and Marketing Manager to produce visually engaging content for digital and print platforms.

Position Information

Department: College of Business

Building/Office Location: BC - Business Academic Center

Work Schedule: TBD, 10 hours per week to start

Primary Responsibilities

1. Design visually appealing and brand-consistent marketing materials like flyers, posters, brochures, and more.
2. Create templates and stock marketing materials that can be reused across campaigns and events.
3. Assist with organization of brand assets.

Qualifications

1. Sophomore or Junior pursuing a degree in Marketing, Visual Communication Design, or related field, or a strong desire to learn the skills necessary to succeed as a Graphic Designer or Creative Strategist.
2. Demonstrated experience or interest in graphic design, with a portfolio (if available) to showcase work.
3. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to produce polished, professional design materials.
4. Ability to follow brand guidelines and work within established design standards.
5. Willingness to work collaboratively with a small team of marketers and creatives.
6. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
7. Advanced knowledge of Canva for quick, high-quality design production.
