We are recruiting for a part-time Platform Strategist to join our growing Social Video Services team. This role will require being available 4 days a week, approximately 8 hours per day.

The Platform Strategist focuses on high-level strategic initiatives, making use of every possible lever there is to take advantage of on the platform. The Platform Strategist is a true expert of how to optimize their distribution platform for maximum results. This role continues to run projects on a day-to-day basis alongside their Coordinators, serving as the key day-to-day point of contact for the client.

This is a temporary role. This assignment is currently anticipated to be from March to June, however the length of assignment could change depending on business needs.

We are a digital content studio and broadcaster, specializing in distribution and monetization of video content across YouTube and all social platforms, as well as production of original and brand-funded video content. We manage YouTube channels and social video for over 100 global TV brands, from Gordon Ramsay to Formula E. We also produce original and branded video content, and have launched several award-winning branded campaigns. We have offices in London, Munich, Berlin and Los Angeles.

HOW YOU WILL SPEND YOUR TIME

  • Create impactful reports with thorough YouTube channel analysis and actionable recommendations.
  • Confidently lead client meetings as a YouTube expert — anticipate client questions/concerns and be prepared to answer those questions.
  • Provide team with strategic guidance on improving copy for stronger SEO.
  • Own deck creation.
  • Proactively communicate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proactively present strong recommendations to the client on overall channel strategy.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Skills matter, experience is useful, attitude is everything.

  • 2-4 years working as a Channel Manager on YouTube or exceeds expectations of all the responsibilities of a Channel Manager.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Experience with Google, Microsoft, and Apple productivity applications.
  • Interest and experience with YouTube and other social media.
  • Experience managing direct reports and communicating with managers.
  • The ability to quickly learn new processes, tools, etc., and communicate learnings to others.
  • The ability to independently lead client conversations & keep clients happy with services.
  • Understands all the intricacies of YouTube Studio.
  • Can develop a solid strategy for growth with their client.
