Client is a premier firm specializing in luxury swimming pool spaces, is seeking a talented Landscape Designer / Sales
We're looking for a professional who thrives on cultivating new opportunities and managing client relationships, with the ability to translate visionary designs into reality.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Client Engagement:
Respond to incoming leads from prospective high-end residential and commercial clients, guiding them through initial consultations to project commitment.
Develop and present creative, customized design proposals tailored to client specifications, ensuring alignment with their vision and budget.
Nurture relationships with existing clients, maintaining trust and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Proactively develop new business opportunities by:
Building relationships with architects, builders, real estate agents, and other key industry professionals.
Attending networking events and leveraging personal and professional networks.
Identifying potential clients through targeted outreach, including cold calls, property visits, and referrals.
Design and Technical Expertise:
Create bespoke landscape designs, including pools, and pool spaces.
Prepare drawings, blueprints, and specifications that meet regulatory requirements and ensure seamless project execution.
Collaborate with internal teams and construction managers to address logistical and design considerations, ensuring designs are practical and executable.
Provide insights on materials, construction methods, and project feasibility during the design phase.
Estimating and Project Coordination:
Review incoming plans and specifications for bidding, ensuring comprehensive and competitive proposals.
Assist with light project management duties, including site visits and ongoing communication with construction teams to ensure quality and efficiency.
Pipeline and Performance:
Maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified leads, with regular updates and tracking of opportunities and revenue forecasts.
Meet or exceed annual sales and gross margin goals through a balance of incoming leads and proactive outreach.
Deliver high closing ratios by maintaining exceptional client communication and ensuring project satisfaction.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Design, or a related field (preferred).
3-5 years of experience in high-end landscape design, with a proven ability to manage complex projects.
Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp) and a deep understanding of construction standards and methods.
Strong sales and relationship-building skills, with experience working with high-net-worth clients.
A valid driver's license and flexibility to travel for site visits and client meetings.
Local residency in southeastern MA
