Social Media Marketing Program Manager Length: 12 month Contract Location: Sunnyvale, CA (Hybrid: Tues – Thurs on-site) The Select Group is seeking a Social Media Marketing Program Manager to grow a client's online presence and drive audience engagement across key social media platforms. This role is designed for an individual who excels in a dynamic, tech-oriented environment and has a strong grasp of B2B and developer-focused social media strategies. Social Media Marketing Program Manager Requirements: 5–7 years of relevant experience in social media marketing, digital marketing, or content strategy. Experience with increasing customer acquisition and engagement. Social Media Strategy & Management – Proven experience managing and growing brand presence across LinkedIn, X, and Reddit including content planning, post scheduling, and engagement strategies. Project & Stakeholder Management – Comfortable collaborating with regional marketing teams to tailor content for global audiences. Experience with go-to-market quarterly planning on social activities. Analytics & Performance Tracking – Proficiency in tracking and analyzing social media performance, using insights to refine social media strategy. Experience with Jira or similar tools to track deadlines and deliverables. B2B, SaaS, and technical audience marketing – Strong understanding of social media marketing for a technical and developer-focused audience. Engagement & Community Building – Ability to create conversations, foster engagement, and actively respond to and interact with the online community. Growth & Optimization – Experience in growing followers, increasing engagement, and testing new social media channels to drive brand awareness and user acquisition. Strong communication skills with a keen eye for content quality and engagement. Social Media Marketing Program Manager Responsibilities: Develop, schedule, and oversee organic social media content aligned with content calendar. Moderate social media interactions, post updates, and manage content (more than creating it). Manage and optimize social media channels (LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Reddit, TikTok), ensuring consistent and engaging brand messaging. Actively engage with and grow social media community by responding to comments, questions, and relevant discussions. Test and explore new social media platforms and content formats to expand reach and impact. Partner with regional teams to tailor content for global audiences and enhance localized engagement. Track and analyze social media performance, providing insights and recommendations for growth. Collaborate with internal teams to align social media efforts with broader marketing campaigns.
