The Marketing Manager manages the daily operations of the property and special events. The Marketing Manager develops and implements both short- and long-term promotions, event plans and sets objectives and advances on property promotions, tournaments, and other events. The Marketing Manager is expected to serve as a public relations ambassador for the entire property.

This is an on-property role in Grove, Oklahoma. Remote/hybrid roles will not be considered for this.

Responsibilities

  1. Establish long-term enablement templates, tools, product collateral, PowerPoint presentations, and other materials to enable sales to effectively engage with customers and win deals.
  2. Assist in the development of incentive programs, special events, and other marketing programs.
  3. Execute and monitor strategic marketing plans, both short and long range.
  4. Administer the loyalty and reward program for the property and promotions and events with the assistance of other marketing staff and operational managers.
  5. Manage the reward program.
  6. Provide advice on segmentation of the loyalty program database, the design of level privileges, major prizing, and the design and content of direct marketing collateral materials.
  7. Develop innovative promotions and events including gaming tournaments, business partnerships, specific marketing plans, and exciting special events and promotions for the patrons.
  8. Coordinate with outside agencies to promote and/or produce promotions & events on site.
  9. Coordinate promotions and events with involved departments.
  10. Develop/create co-operative programs to incorporate into marketing strategies.
  11. Maintain schedules of upcoming promotions, events, and tournaments.
  12. Produce pre and post event evaluation reports for the General Manager.
  13. Investigate, locate, and purchase needed materials for promotions keeping in mind budgetary guidelines.
  14. Routinely keep in contact with VIP Guests and maintain guest relations.
  15. Research database information to identify customer demographics and interests; consult with management on methods of targeting, developing, and informing customers of upcoming special events.
  16. Maintain and update customer database continually ensuring the highest level of data integrity, including measurement systems; maintain confidentiality of database and files.
  17. Work and assist with other marketing projects including but not limited to promotions, events, entertainment, tournament, trade shows, and research as directed by management.
  18. Obtain the written approvals for all promotions and elements used on behalf of the property.
  19. Assist in the coordination of and development of administrative projects, tasks, and special events.
  20. Address personnel matters in adherence to departmental protocols, established company standards, and procedural guidelines.
  21. Prepare and manage budget, including expenses related to staffing levels, capital expenditures, and maintenance costs.
  22. Assume Human Resources responsibilities for the department, cultivating a collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork, provides performance feedback, and upholds mutual respect.
  23. Ensure high-quality compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  24. Demonstrate professional communication skills, fostering and sustaining positive relationships with both staff and management.
  25. Provide strong leadership to guide and inspire teams. Build and manage high performance teams. Mentor and develop team members.
  26. Make critical decisions that impact the overall success of the organization.
