Position Summary
The User Interface (UI) Test Automation Engineer drives quality and innovation by designing and implementing automated testing solutions that ensure seamless user experiences and reliable software performance. This role plays a key part in Empower’s mission to deliver innovative, high-quality medications by fostering efficiency and collaboration across development teams.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develops and maintains robust test automation frameworks for web, mobile, and hybrid applications to ensure high-quality user interfaces.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and implement test strategies.
- Leads the execution of functional, regression, and end-to-end test cases to validate performance and usability.
- Optimizes testing processes by integrating automated workflows into Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines.
- Mentors junior team members in automation best practices and fosters a culture of innovation and accountability.
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills, with a focus on building collaborative relationships.
- Expertise in automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Appium, and proficiency in scripting languages like JavaScript, Python, or Java.
Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in automated testing for web and mobile platforms, with a proven track record of delivering quality results.
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
