Position SummaryThe Senior Native User Interface (UI) Developer creates responsive, high-performing mobile applications that align with Empower’s mission. This role integrates Representational State Transfer (RESTful) Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and GraphQL, driving innovation and team growth while improving access to affordable, quality medications.
Duties and Responsibilities- Develops and implements responsive and visually appealing mobile applications, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
- Collaborates with designers and back-end developers to create seamless, cross-platform solutions.
- Leads the integration of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and other data communication tools into mobile platforms.
- Optimizes application performance through testing, debugging, and continuous refinement.
- Mentors junior developers, fostering a culture of innovation and professional growth within the team.
Knowledge and Skills
- Exceptional problem-solving and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive team success.
- Proficiency in React Native, Flutter, and server-side technologies like Node.js, with expertise in automation testing tools and Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines.
Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in mobile application development, with a proven track record of delivering high-performance applications.
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree strongly preferred.
