River Region Psychiatry Associates is excited to announce an opening for a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist in Nashville, TN for occasional weekend IP coverage. While a specialization in addiction psychiatry is not required, a strong working knowledge of addiction treatment is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and manage medications for patients, including those with substance use disorders.
- Supervise and collaborate with mid-level providers to deliver the highest quality care.
- Maintain timely and compliant documentation in accordance with facility standards.
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Psychiatry.
- A valid Tennessee medical license or eligibility for licensure.
- Excellent teaching and leadership skills with a collaborative approach to care.
- Prior experience supervising mid-level providers is preferred.

Requirements:POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine – Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and/or Neurology
Experience Minimum of 3 years’ experience in working with patient population hired to serve (child, adolescent, adult, or geriatric)
License Current valid license in the respective State hired to serve with a current and unrestricted DEA registration
