Meriplex
The Director of Marketing is a developmental position that will map, with the vision and instruction of the CEO and with input from other department leaders, a Company marketing path for 2025 and forward. Closely working with the CEO to forge and implement the Company’s new marketing plan, the candidate will be responsible for assisting in that development and for executing the overall marketing strategy for Meriplex. This work includes creating this marketing plan with the CEO and others in upper management and implementing that plan by leading marketing professionals (inside and outside of the Company), managing the marketing budget, and collaborating closely with Sales, Operations, and other departments to achieve Company objectives. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work cooperatively, professionally and collaboratively with C-suite executives (in particular the CEO) in developing the marketing plan, as envisioned for the Company’s future, and the candidate will possess a deep understanding of the MSP market, strong digital marketing skills, and experience with marketing automation platforms like HubSpot and Marketing Cloud. Additionally, this role requires a high level of technical skill and understanding of IT concepts. This position may change over time, as the marketing plan is developed and implemented; the candidate needs to possess characteristics and skills reflecting flexibility, good listening ability, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with Company goals and targets specific customer segments.
Lead and mentor the marketing team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
Manage the marketing budget and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
Oversee all marketing activities, including content marketing, social media marketing, email marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, events, and public relations.
Leverage HubSpot and Marketing Cloud to automate marketing processes, personalize customer communications, and analyze marketing data.
Collaborate closely with the Sales team to develop lead generation strategies and support sales enablement efforts.
Partner with the Operations team to understand customer needs and ensure marketing messages are aligned with service delivery.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
Develop and maintain brand messaging and ensure consistent brand representation across all marketing channels.
Manage relationships with external vendors and agencies.
Report regularly to senior management on marketing performance and progress towards goals.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
8+ years of progressive marketing experience, with a focus on B2B technology or managed services.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and best practices.
Expertise in using SalesForce, HubSpot, and Marketing Cloud for marketing automation, lead nurturing, and reporting.
Experience with website analytics and tools for tracking website usage and user behavior.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Ability to lead and motivate a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Experience working with Sales and Operations teams.
Technical background or understanding of IT concepts is highly desirable .

Current Pay Range:
$135,000-$185,000/annually.
