POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a creative and innovative Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team at beMarketing. The ideal candidate is passionate about design, has a strong understanding of marketing principles, and excels in delivering visually stunning and goal-driven designs. You will work closely with our marketing, content, and web development teams to create compelling visual assets that align with our clients' marketing objectives.
The ideal candidate is fluent in design trends, new technologies, and can translate brand goals into captivating designs. This role requires both a creative thinker and a strategic designer who can work across a variety of digital and print platforms.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Creative Design: Develop eye-catching original designs for websites, digital ads, social media, email campaigns, landing pages, infographics, and print materials, ensuring all designs are on-brand and align with the client’s goals.
Marketing-Centric Design: Collaborate with marketing teams to create designs that not only look good but drive engagement, conversions, and meet key performance metrics.Generate ideas to portray concepts and advertise products/services
UX/UI Design: Work proactively and collaboratively with the web development team to create user-friendly interfaces and design elements that enhance the user experience on client websites and digital platforms.
Brand Identity: Create and maintain brand guidelines for all clients, ensuring consistency in all visual elements and across all platforms. Proactively and creatively suggest designs and direction within brand guidelines with a focus on generating results for clients.
New Technology & Innovation: Stay updated on design tools and trends, utilizing the latest software and techniques (e.g., motion graphics, interactive content) to keep designs cutting-edge. Provide expert insights to be included in blogs and company podcast.
Project Management: Manage multiple design projects from concept through execution, meeting deadlines and collaborating with various teams for feedback and revisions.
Client Collaboration: Work directly with clients to understand their design needs, present concepts, and iterate based on feedback to deliver designs that exceed expectations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, content, and development teams to ensure that design and marketing strategies are aligned, cohesive, and effective.
Asset Management: Organize and manage digital assets, ensuring files are properly stored, archived, and accessible for team members.
Track billable time accordingly and accurately
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3-5+ years of professional design experience in an agency or in-house marketing team, with a portfolio demonstrating high-quality design work across digital and print mediums.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Design Tools Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, Sketch, or similar design tools.
- Marketing Knowledge: Strong understanding of marketing principles and how design impacts engagement, conversions, and overall campaign success.
- UI/UX Design: Proven experience in designing for digital experiences, including websites, mobile apps, and landing pages, with a focus on user-centered design and interaction.
- Creativity & Innovation: Ability to think outside the box and proactively come up with creative solutions to design challenges, while remaining aligned with marketing and brand goals.
- Typography & Layout: Strong skills in typography, color theory, layout, and composition, with a sharp attention to detail and visual hierarchy.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with teams and present ideas to clients clearly and persuasively.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions within tight deadlines.
- Tech Savvy: Comfortable with learning and using new design tools, technologies, and trends (e.g., AR/VR design, 3D graphics, motion design).
- Time Management: Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with motion graphics, animation, or video editing tools (e.g., After Effects, Premiere Pro).
- Experience designing for eCommerce, lead generation, and conversion-focused campaigns.
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS for web design, or experience working closely with developers.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices as they relate to web design.
