Job Description
Required Education:
• A bachelor's degree is required
Required experience:
• Experience in Medical Event Planning: Proven experience in planning and executing events specifically in the medical device or healthcare industry.
• Knowledge of Compliance Regulations: In-depth understanding of compliance regulations, such as the Sunshine Act and other healthcare laws, related to medical events.
• Vendor Management Skills: Strong ability to manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure service quality.
• Budget Management: Demonstrated experience in developing and managing event budgets, ensuring financial accountability.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with event management software and tools to streamline event planning and execution.
Preferred qualifications/experience/ skills:
• Plan and execute events targeting healthcare professionals and patients in the medical device and healthcare sector.
• Collaborate with vendors to design event elements, procure housing, acquire appropriate meeting spaces, and manage attendee registration.
• Develop and manage event budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure all events comply with industry-specific regulations, including the Sunshine Act.
• Work closely with internal teams to communicate event details and ensure smooth execution.
• Provide post-event evaluations and feedback for continual improvement in event strategy.
Position Overview: The selected candidate will plan and execute various events within the medical device and healthcare industry, with a focus on increasing awareness and engagement with patients and healthcare professionals (HCPs). This role will require effective collaboration with vendors, event management, and strategic planning to drive the adoption of Heart Failure solutions.
