Job Summary:
We're looking for a Marketing Manager to join our small but nimble team, where you'll be both a strategic thinker and hands-on marketer.

Job Description:

A typical day might look like this: You start off by putting together the strategy for a new lead gen campaign. Then you pivot and jump on an internal call with one of our SMEs to help with an upcoming content piece. Next you might be setting up a new HubSpot workflow or adjusting content on a LinkedIn ad campaign. At the end of the day, it's back to planning and reporting on our new MQLs - and brainstorming creative new ways to increase our leads this quarter.

Sound interesting? If you're a motivated, results-driven Marketer looking to make a big impact, then this role might be a perfect fit for you.

We're looking for a Marketing Manager to join our small but nimble team, where you'll be both a strategic thinker and hands-on marketer - getting the opportunity to strategize and plan revenue-generating marketing programs while also executing and getting your hands dirty (aka you can put together a strategic plan to increase inbound inquiries but you're also not afraid to set up an email campaign or write ad copy).

Reporting to the Director, Marketing and Business Development, this role is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience working in fast-paced environments or on small but mighty teams, and someone looking to make a real difference in the healthcare software space.

This role can be a fully remote role - or you can work out of our head office in North Carolina or coworking spaces in Boston or Miami. (Our parent company is also located in Toronto, so we are also considering Canadian candidates).

Key Responsibilities

Your core responsibility will be to develop and execute multi-faceted marketing strategies to drive lead generation, brand awareness, and revenue growth. Here's a little more about what that means:

Lead Generation
  • Create and manage a lead generation strategy that focuses on how to increase inbound inquiries
  • Set up multi-channel lead generation campaigns and report on the results - website, email, digital advertising, social media and more
  • Leverage HubSpot for marketing automation, lead nurturing, and campaign tracking
  • Develop a content program that supports our lead gen strategies
  • Improve SEO and website content
  • Leverage HubSpot for marketing automation, lead nurturing, and campaign tracking
  • KPIs: You'll be responsible for KPIs like # of new MQLs generated, MQL to SQL conversion rate, and opportunities generated and closed from marketing activities (yup, not just marketing-influenced deals)
Brand Awareness
  • Build and nurture relationships with industry associations to expand medaptus' presence and influence in the healthcare sector
  • Own and lead the conference and event strategy, managing all aspects of planning, logistics, budgeting, and onsite execution
  • Develop engaging content such as case studies, whitepapers, blogs, videos and webinars, to position medaptus as a thought leader
  • Manage and optimize the company's online web presence in collaboration with an external web partner
  • KPIs: Increased traffic to the website, number of leads generated from tradeshows, increased conversion rate on landing pages
Revenue Growth

The combination of lead generation campaigns and brand awareness strategies will result in new customers for medaptus, directly increasing our revenue. Other ways you will be contributing to revenue growth:
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, customer, product, and leadership teams to align marketing efforts with company objectives
  • Monitor marketing performance data and generate actionable insights to improve ROI and campaign effectiveness
  • Stay on top of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to inform marketing strategies

Ideal Candidate Profile

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably in the healthcare or technology sectors

• Comfortable wearing multiple hats, with experience working in startups or small teams where adaptability and initiative are essential
• Strong communication, project management, and organizational skills, with a hands-on approach to execution

• A growth mindset with entrepreneurial thinking and a proactive approach to problem-solving

• Proven experience with HubSpot, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Canva, WordPress and LinkedIn

• Demonstrated experience in conference and event planning, with a focus on optimizing ROI

• Willingness to travel for conferences, events, and team collaboration

What We Offer

• The opportunity to take ownership of marketing initiatives in a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment

• A chance to make a real impact in the healthcare technology space

• Competitive salary and benefits package (health benefits from day one; 401K matching; annual bonus; educational reimbursements and more).

If you're a creative, hands-on marketer with startup experience and a passion for healthcare technology, we'd love to hear from you!
