Overall Responsibilities
We are seeking an innovative, creative, and results-driven Social Media Manager to manage and
grow our online presence across various social media platforms. You will be at the forefront of our
social content, crafting engaging posts that resonate with our community. Your role will involve
actively telling and expanding our brand story while collaborating with cross-functional teams to
create compelling content, build content calendars, and foster connections with our audience. You
are responsible for driving engagement and enhancing Youtheory's brand visibility by managing
our channels with a mix of strategy, creativity, and real-time content creation.

Requirements
- Social Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute social media strategies that align with Youtheory's marketing calendar and brand objectives.
- Platform Management: Lead daily channel management, content ideation, and execution for Youtheory US and Canada on Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and Facebook.
- Storytelling & Content Creation: Create engaging, always-on content that reflects our brand voice while using storytelling to strengthen brand loyalty and engagement.
- Craft detailed content briefs and collaborate with the Creative team to ensure the successful execution of social media content as needed.
- Cross-functional Team Collaboration: Partner with the Marketing and Creative teams to execute integrated campaigns.
- Support in the coordination of influencer and user-generated content (UGC).
- Assist in the planning and coordination of paid social content.
- Community Engagement: Actively engage with our audience, managing comments, messages, and conversations to build and support our community.
- Coordinate social giveaways with like-minded brand partners to help grow audience.
- Calendar Planning: Build content calendars, schedule and maintain an organized social calendar across platforms.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track, analyze, and continuously optimize social media metrics to shape future campaign content and strategy.
- Social Listening & Trends: Stay updated on trends in wellness, social culture, and emerging platforms to keep our community engaged and our content relevant.
- 3-5 years of experience in a social media role, ideally within a consumer-facing brand.
- We ask that you provide a portfolio showcasing your previous work in a social media role, including a piece of video content featuring you in front of the camera. This can include a video from previous roles or personal creative endeavors.
- Deep enthusiasm for health and wellness topics and emerging trends
- Must be comfortable creating video content both behind and in front of the camera
- Strong understanding of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and emerging social platforms, including audience nuances and best practices
- Works well cross-functionally
- Exceptional understanding of the intersection of social media and marketing with the ability to view social media through both a social and marketing lens
- Deep understanding of social culture, memes, and trends, with a knack for spotting the next big opportunity for our brand.
- Experience with social media management platforms (e.g., Later, Sprout Social) required.
- Creative thinker with strong writing and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
