About the Role:
TikTok LIVE is on the hunt for a seasoned and innovative Senior Creative Designer to join our vibrant team in Los Angeles. In this role, you'll collaborate with a diverse, global team of operations managers and designers to shape the visual narrative of TikTok LIVE in the US and LATAM markets.
Responsibilities
- Style Guide Leadership: Collaborate with the central design team to create, define, and maintain a comprehensive style guide tailored for the US/LATAM regions.
- Visual Design Execution: Drive the design of various visual assets-including promotional campaigns, branded swag, live creator training materials, and new product launch assets-ensuring consistency and excellence across all deliverables.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with local operations teams and our design team globally to develop creative strategies, conceptual designs, and production-ready assets.
- Quality Assurance: Exhibit exceptional attention to detail, rigorously proof-checking your work while keeping a keen eye on both the nuances and the overarching creative vision.
- Iterative Improvement: Embrace feedback and continuously refine design solutions to meet and exceed quality standards.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience) with at least 5 years of experience in a similar creative role.
- Design Expertise: Proven expertise in design, typography, layout, and color theory, backed by a compelling portfolio that showcases successful, high-impact projects.
- Creative Collaboration: Deep understanding of the creative process with a track record of effective cross-functional collaboration.
- Self-Starter: Highly creative, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a cross-cultural, team-oriented setting.
- Feedback-Oriented: Open to feedback with the drive to iterate designs until the best possible solution is achieved.
- Proficiency in Spanish and English, enabling effective collaboration with Spanish-speaking global clients to effectively communicate, improve client satisfaction, and drive business growth.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Skills: Experience in 2D illustration, 3D rendering and AIGC.
- Project Leadership: Demonstrated ability to take projects from concept through to high-fidelity execution with minimal oversight.
- Industry Insight: Passion for the live streaming industry and familiarity with TikTok's platform and community.
- Agility: Enthusiasm for working in a fast-growing, ever-evolving environment.
