About the Role An industry-leading organisation (client confidential) is seeking a talented and detail-oriented

Audio Visual (AV) Design Engineer

to develop high-quality AV system designs. This role primarily focuses on creating detailed drawings and design documentation, with a strong preference for candidates who possess a technical background to support system integration and performance optimization. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to cutting-edge AV projects, working within a collaborative and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities Create detailed AV system drawings, schematics, and design documentation using industry-standard software.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and installation teams to ensure accurate and practical designs.

Translate client requirements into functional AV system designs, adhering to industry standards and best practices.

Provide technical input during project planning and implementation phases.

Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, regulations, and safety requirements.

Participate in design review meetings and adjust plans as necessary based on feedback.

Conduct site surveys and assessments to support accurate design development.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging AV technologies and design techniques.

Key Requirements Proven experience as an AV Design Engineer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of design projects.

Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) for AV system schematics and layouts.

Strong technical background with a comprehensive understanding of AV systems, components, and integration.

Familiarity with industry standards such as AVIXA guidelines and relevant codes.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Relevant certifications (e.g., CTS, CTS-D) are highly desirable.

Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
