Social Media Coordinator Job at Aquent Talent in New York

Our client, a leading online luxury fashion retailer, is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Coordinator to join our dynamic marketing team. In this role, you’ll help shape our social media presence and engage with our fashion-forward community. This is an onsite potiion in New York, NY. YOU must be able to come into the office 5x a week to be considered. The ideal candidate would have social media experience in e-commerce or retail.

Responsibilities:

\n

\n
• Manage content across our client’s social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest).
\n
• Manage product links and shoppable content to drive e-commerce conversions.
\n
• Execute daily community management, responding to comments and DMs while maintaining brand voice.
\n
• Organize and manage digital assets for social media campaigns.
\n
• Support influencer marketing initiatives.
\n
• Stay current with fashion industry trends and social media best practices.
\n

\n

Experience:

\n

\n
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Fashion Merchandising, or related field.
\n
• 1-3 years experience in social media marketing (fashion industry experience preferred)
\n
• Strong understanding of social commerce and platform-specific best practices.
\n
• Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Later, Dash Hudson).
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
\n
• Strong eye for fashion and visual storytelling.
\n

• Experience in e-commerce or retail.
\n
• Knowledge of fashion brands and industry trends..
\n
• Understanding of analytics and reporting tools.
\n
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
\n

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $26.93 to $29.93 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
