Role Overview
The Tour Marketing Coordinator is vital in supporting the Tour Marketing team, working closely with the Tour Marketers and internal teams to help execute successful marketing campaigns for nationally booked tours. Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, this role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- The Tour Marketing Coordinator will support the Tour Marketing Team, which is responsible for developing marketing campaigns for nationally booked tours.
- This role will share information across teams, facilitate tracking, and support stakeholders in their execution.
- This role will perform various administrative and marketing support duties for the Tour Marketing team.
- Create and maintain a marketing tracker for each tour/show.
- Coordinate, track, check, and deliver approved assets.
- Maintain and track advertising budgets, including processing incoming advertising invoices.
- Coordinate execution of tickets or applicable prizing for programs and promotions.
- Assist in meeting preparation with artist representatives.
- Research audience and artist demographic info to help shape marketing plans.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred.
- 1-3 years of marketing experience in comedy, music, entertainment, or media.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Proactive work ethic with problem-solving aptitude.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), G-Suite, Dropbox, and project management software (e.g., JIRA).
- Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation tools.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Creativity and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
