Job Summary:
The responsibilities of this position include managing our social media presence across various platforms, creating engaging content, and growing our online community. This position works closely with the Digital Marketing and Content Marketing Manager to implement strategies and achieve marketing goals.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Social Media Management:
- Manage/Create social media accounts for Engineered Floors, DreamWeaver, PureGrain, and Pentz. Platforms include but are not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Twitter, TikTok, and EF Link (aspects of our internal program)
- Develop and manage social media scheduling and content execution as directed by the Digital Marketing & Content Marketing teams
- Adapt social media strategy based on post-performance and end-user insights
- Nurture user relationships by responding to comments, sharing, managing messages, etc.
- Manage EF Connect platform execution and Retention
- Develop and manage a hashtag library with metrics
- Delivers monthly content calendars at least 7 days ahead of use for team review and approval
- Lead generation through social media channels
- Manage influencers through Meltwater’s Klear platform
- Manage our weekly internal communication tools like EF Buzz & Unscripted Podcasts
- Attend yearly conferences to stay on trend with the ever-changing social media landscape
- Work with Sr. Director of Product Marketing to engage with industry publications
- Floor Covering News, Floor Covering Weekly, Floor Focus, and others
Content Creation:
- Create engaging and visually appealing content for videos and posts
- Generate content: captions, scripts, and develop creative concepts for posting
- Have skills in various creative platforms (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Express, Adobe InDesign)
- Edit photos and videos
- Capture original photos and videos for social media use as needed
Strategy & Collaboration:
- Reference trends and subjects provided by the Content Marketing Manager
- Collaborate with Marketing Team members for planning and execution
- Provide monthly and yearly tracking to improve content quality and to review in strategy discussions
- Align with brand voice and target audience
- Find and share relevant industry sources (news, blogs, user-generated content)
- Conduct social media creative competitor analysis
- Tailor content to each platform while understanding social platform algorithms
- Maintain an up-to-date content library
- Offer creative insights
- Attend tradeshows as needed
- Work on additional Product Marketing Projects as needed
Experience/Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred
- Experience as a Social Media Manager, Specialist, or similar role (1-3 years) is preferred
- Excellent knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Twitter, TikTok) required
- Experience with social media management tools (e.g., scheduling platforms, analytics tools) is preferred
- Proficiency in content creation and editing tools (e.g., CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Express) is preferred
- Organize workload on Monday.com platform for project management
