Your Day to Day
  • Manage designated corporate event timelines and ensure all budgets and strategic event goals set with
    the EVP of Corporate Communications and Brand Marketing (Manager) are met.
  • .Lead, direct and coordinate planning, research, preparation and timelines for all assigned corporate events
  • Collaborate with company executives to prepare time sensitive marketing proposal
  • Coordinate and administer daily department operations; assist with implementation of corporate
    communications and brand marketing plans, objectives and strategies.
  • Under the direction of your Manager, plan and coordinate public relations programs that promote
    Jacobsen's story and The Jacobsen Experience in the community. Promote Jacobsen services through
    public relations initiatives.
  • Align with comprehensive corporate communications and brand marketing strategy to assist business
    development efforts.
  • Identify potential marketing and advertising programs to support the business plan.
  • Ensure collateral marketing materials are accurate and appropriate for corporate image.
  • Recommend growth strategies as well as identify areas for improvement.
  • Produce social media posts and assist in execution as part of corporate communications plan.
  • Perform administrative duties, including but not limited to scheduling and calendaring for the team,
    maintaining the Company store and processing expense reports.
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned

  • Meeting all deadlines by skillful multi-tasking and juggling multiple priorities. Demonstrating task
    flexibility as necessary to respond to quick turn-around requirements
  • Demonstrate discretion in handling sensitive/confidential information
  • Providing logistic support for meetings and Company events
  • Developing effective proposals, presentations and collateral materials that meet RFP requirements and
    exceed owner expectations
  • Working collaboratively in a team environment and across organizational lines. Maintaining positive
    relationships with Project Executives, Project Managers and other stakeholders in the business
    development process
  • Interacting and communicating effectively both verbally and in writing. Demonstrating excellent
    customer service skills.

Education & Experience
  • Undergraduate degree in journalism. communications, marketing, or
    related field
  • Five or more years in marketing or related experience
  • Prior experience in estimating and/or construction environments preferred,
    not required
