A global leader in precision manufacturing is seeking a Vice President of Sales & Marketing to spearhead growth and innovation. Specializing in complex, low-volume metal packaging and industrial components, this company is renowned for integrating design, manufacturing, and assembly into cutting-edge equipment solutions.

The VP of Sales & Marketing will lead a team of 10+ professionals, optimizing sales strategy, pipeline management, and customer engagement while enhancing sales structure, incentives, and training. This role is perfect for a strategic, results-driven executive with a proven track record in revenue growth, commercial planning, and market expansion. Responsibilities include:

Strategic Growth & Business Development Develop and implement a comprehensive growth strategy for the business, addressing short-term revenue objectives and long-term (3–5 year) expansion goals. Identify and pursue new market opportunities, ensuring a strategic balance between customer retention and acquisition.

Commercial Planning & Sales Leadership Lead the annual commercial planning process, setting clear sales objectives and performance metrics. Optimize sales team structure, incentive plans, and training programs to enhance overall performance and accountability.

Customer Engagement & Relationship Management Strengthen and expand relationships with key customers by anticipating their evolving needs and providing tailored solutions.

Pricing, Contracts & Financial Oversight Collaborate with finance and sales teams to develop competitive pricing structures, business proposals, and service agreements.

Marketing Strategy & Brand Development Oversee all marketing initiatives to enhance brand awareness, thought leadership, and customer engagement.

Organizational Development & Leadership Lead and develop a high-performing sales and marketing team by providing clear direction, training, and professional development opportunities. Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture within the sales and marketing organization.

Preferred Education and Experience: 10+ years of leadership experience in sales, marketing, and business development, preferably within the metal packaging, industrial equipment, or precision manufacturing industries. Strong track record of driving revenue growth, developing market strategies, and optimizing sales processes. Expertise in CRM, sales pipeline management, forecasting, and contract negotiations. Ability to analyze complex markets, develop strategic plans, and execute data-driven sales initiatives. Experience leading and developing high-performing sales teams with a focus on measurable outcomes. Strong financial acumen with the ability to develop pricing models and revenue optimization strategies. Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred) The compensation package includes a competitive base salary and incentive plan based on EBIDTA

Location: Requires regular visits to a Midwest-based headquarters, as well as U.S. and international travel.

Note: The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill set; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. It is not common for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the range is $200,000.00 to $225,000.00 per year.
