We are looking for a strategic individual with an analytical mindset to join us as our Director of Product Marketing. In this new role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative strategies that drive customer engagement and business growth. This role will execute marketing initiatives that showcase our bank's capabilities, create demand for financial solutions, and communicate new developments effectively. The ideal candidate combines creativity with analytical rigor to enhance our competitive market position while adapting to evolving trends and regulatory challenges.
As a key marketing and product leader, the Director of Product Marketing will develop and test customer strategies, collaborate with internal stakeholders, and leverage analytics to optimize marketing efforts. This role will be instrumental in evaluating products and Go to Market strategies and possess strong knowledge of customer behaviors, competitive landscapes, and key segment needs. This role will evaluate features and functionalities of new and existing products to ensure they are meeting customer expectations as well as ensuring continuous enhancement of the customer experience as it relates to bank products and digital engagement tools.
The Director of Product Marketing's responsibilities include:
Marketing Strategy & Execution Develop and lead marketing strategies that effectively communicate new bank capabilities and initiatives. Provide insights into competitive landscape, go-to-market strategies, and customer-facing product launches. Create targeted marketing campaigns that engage and motivate customers and prospects. Oversee the marketing project lifecycle, from strategy development to execution and performance analysis. Research competitive market trends to refine marketing approaches and improve outreach. Analyze product utilization and engagement to determine if re-launch efforts are necessary. Partner with the Innovation team to build and launch competitive products aligned with market needs. Identify the most effective channels to reach customers and desired clients. Manage marketing budgets, ensuring cost efficiency while maximizing impact. Conduct extensive market research to understand trends, customer behaviors, and competitive positioning. Utilize various systems to personalize marketing efforts and improve customer retention. Measure marketing effectiveness using key metrics such as ROI, customer acquisition cost, and conversion rates. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
Align marketing strategies with business objectives by building strong relationships with business leaders and sales teams. Partner with internal stakeholders to understand customer needs and develop effective marketing plans. Ensure seamless integration of marketing initiatives with business goals through cross-functional collaboration. Work with product development teams to launch new products and services effectively, targeting key customer segments. Analytics & Performance Optimization
Use data analytics to improve marketing strategies, customer segmentation, and campaign effectiveness. Monitor key marketing metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. Influence decision-making through data-driven insights, financial analysis, and persuasive storytelling. Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure all marketing initiatives comply with banking regulations, policies, and industry best practices. Complete required compliance training and report any policy violations or suspicious activities. Qualifications
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree in Marketing, Business or related field preferred. 5+ years of experience in financial services marketing, digital marketing, lead generation, or brand marketing Previous experience leading and coaching teams. Prior experience in banking industry marketing and financial product marketing preferred. Required Skills/Abilities/Knowledge
