Our client, a healthcare provider in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking a Social Media & Content Specialist to manage and grow their online presence.
You'll have the opportunity to develop and execute social media strategies, create engaging multimedia content, monitor online conversations, and analyze digital performance to drive engagement and brand awareness.
What You’ll Do
- Social Media Management – Oversee all aspects of their social media presence, including content creation, scheduling, publishing, and community engagement.
- Content Creation & Copywriting – Write, edit, and develop compelling content for social media, blogs, newsletters, websites, presentations, and more.
- Graphic Design & Branding – Create eye-catching graphics, videos, and digital materials that align with brand guidelines.
- Analytics & Reporting – Track and analyze social media performance, preparing monthly reports with key insights and recommendations.
- Trend Monitoring & Engagement – Keep a pulse on industry trends, healthcare-related conversations, and social media opportunities to enhance digital presence.
- Photography & Videography – Capture moments at events and within the organization to highlight stories that resonate with our audience.
- Media Relations Support – Serve as a media contact when needed and assist in escorting media representatives on-site.
- Crisis & Compliance Management – Ensure all content aligns with guidelines, HIPAA regulations, and brand voice while responding to social media inquiries in a timely manner.
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Graphic Design, Journalism, Public Relations, or Marketing.
- 2+ years of experience managing social media platforms and producing analytics-driven content (not including internships).
- Proficiency in digital tools, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro), Canva, and social media management tools.
- Experience analyzing data to optimize content strategy and engagement.
- Strong writing skills with experience in blog writing, press releases, and professional communications.
- Photography & basic video editing skills are a plus.
- Bi-lingual Spanish is a plus.
