SUMMARY OF POSITION:

If there was an “Eager Beaver” on the Zodiac, that’s the sign you would’ve been born under. About to finish or just out of school, you’re already a CAD ninja and/or drafting guru. But more important, you’re happy to follow the direction of senior designers, helping the team prepare design and construction documents — or any and everything else they ask you to do on basic phases of projects. Because, hey, there’s no better place to learn than in the trenches with seasoned pros, and your brain-sponge is primed to soak up every drop of knowledge in a three-workstation radius. Three must-haves: A professional architecture degree, no more than three years of architectural experience, and a high-susceptibility to having fun.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  1. Performing routine architectural drafting and design duties
  2. Researching and compiling data as required by the project
  3. Correcting and updating drawings
  4. Copying design sketches and layouts prepared by others
  5. Performing other responsibilities as assigned by the Project Managers

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  1. A professional degree in architecture with 0 to 3 years of architectural experience in a small to mid-size professional service firm
  2. Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, Adobe Suite, SketchUp, and MS Office
  3. Basic knowledge in architectural CAD and/or drafting and design development
  4. Willingness to expand personal knowledge base in architecture, architectural design techniques, and architectural technology
  5. Excellent communication skills and collaborative, team-player approach
  6. High professional standards and aspirations
  7. Legal Authorization to work in the US mandatory
