Summary:

Taltran Global has been exclusively engaged by a prominent investment firm to recruit an experienced and strategic Marketing and Communications leader to drive its brand vision and strategy. This is a unique opportunity to shape the firm’s presence in the investment ecosystem by crafting compelling narratives, building high-impact campaigns, and leading key industry events. This role offers the chance to work closely with the firm’s senior leadership, spearhead innovative marketing strategies, and elevate its reputation on a global scale.

The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker, skilled communicator, and results-driven leader who is ready to make a lasting impact. This position reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and oversees a team of five.

Our client, a leading investment firm, manages a multibillion-dollar portfolio, investing in top-tier funds and high-growth private companies. The firm also collaborates with a prominent media partner to produce well-known annual rankings within the investment industry. With a team of seasoned professionals, the firm fosters an entrepreneurial, collaborative culture dedicated to innovation and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership/stakeholders to develop and implement brand strategy and messaging across the firm’s platform, products, and offerings.
  • Design and execute public relations initiatives to enhance the firm’s visibility within the investor and industry ecosystem through media campaigns, podcasts, social media, and thought leadership pieces.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of key events throughout the year, including an annual investor meeting, investor updates, industry collaborations, and an investor event in Europe.
  • Manage strategic partnerships, including high-profile industry rankings and publications.
  • Lead the design and production of marketing and communication materials for current and prospective investors, including pitch decks, quarterly reports, investment memos, email campaigns, and portfolio highlights.
  • Oversee the firm's digital presence, ensuring website content, investor portals, and external platforms are engaging and up-to-date.
  • Manage the creation and distribution of press releases and articles in a timely manner.
  • Lead and expand a communications team of internal and external professionals to enhance the firm’s marketing and branding efforts.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  • 10-15+ years of progressive experience in marketing and communications, with a strong background in financial services, particularly venture capital.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing a communications team.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills, combined with the ability to execute detailed tactical plans.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing multi-channel marketing and public relations campaigns.
  • A creative and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to mentor and develop team members.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, Design, or a related field required.
