We're looking for a Field Marketing & Events Manager to drive brand awareness and engagement for LangChain through a diverse range of events — from industry conferences to executive gatherings and meetups. You'll own event strategy, execution, follow-up, and performance tracking to maximize impact.

Location: Candidate must be excited to be in-person 5 days/week at our office in San Francisco, CA.

In this role, you should expect to:

  • Develop and manage a diverse portfolio of events, from major industry conferences to executive gatherings and local meetups, to boost brand awareness and generate leads.

  • Prioritize industry conferences, identify key engagement and sponsorship opportunities, and develop targeted strategies to connect with the right audience.

  • Oversee all aspects of event planning, promotion, execution, and post-event follow-up to ensure seamless coordination and maximum engagement.

  • Manage event budgets, vendor relationships, and logistics to optimize efficiency and impact.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact during events, managing on-the-ground operations, resolving challenges, and representing LangChain with professionalism.

  • Collaborate with marketing and sales to align event initiatives with business goals and maximize impact.

  • Track key event metrics, analyze insights, and refine strategies to drive continuous improvement and success.

How to be successful in this role

  • You have 3+ years of experience in events or field marketing.

  • You’re detail-oriented with a "get it done" mindset.

  • You can juggle multiple projects while maintaining ownership and ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.

  • You have experience managing event budgets, negotiating contracts, and ensuring cost efficiency — while delivering a top-tier experience for attendees.

  • You’re creative and bring new ideas to the table.

  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment and see unstructured settings as an opportunity to drive impact and shape the company’s success.

  • You take ownership, have a strong work ethic, and go the extra mile.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary and equity stake for role and stage of company. Commensurate with experience.

  • Annual salary range: $150,000-$185,000 USD
