Key responsibilities
Collaborate with marketing stakeholders to understand business requirements and design effective outbound campaigns and customer journeys across email, push notifications, and other channels
Build and execute outbound campaigns, including email, push, SMS, and other channels, ensuring seamless delivery and a consistent customer experience
Provide self-service guidance as well as full-service Braze support to marketing teams, depending on the complexity of the customer journey or outbound initiative
Manage the content creation and personalization process, working closely with copywriters, designers, and other marketing team members
Develop and maintain customer segments and targeting strategies to optimize campaign performance and personalization
Monitor campaign performance, analyze results, and provide recommendations for optimization and improvement
Stay up-to-date on email marketing best practices and new channel capabilities, and advocate for the adoption of emerging technologies and methodologies
Streamline the outbound campaign production process through automation, process improvements, and the implementation of new tools and technologies
Coordinate with the Global Production team, Associate Director, and Director to ensure timely delivery, appropriate resource allocation, and alignment with overall marketing priorities
Support Global Outbound Production Specialists in developing their understanding of tools and process as well as with issue resolution
Basic Qualifications:
2-3 years of hands-on experience in email and outbound campaign production, specifically with Salesforce/ExactTarget or similar marketing platforms
Basic knowledge of HTML and email design best practices
Business fluency in English, both written and spoken (all locations)
Business fluency in Japanese, both written and spoken (if based in JP)
Exceptional organizational skills to efficiently deliver tasks within specified timelines during agile sprints
Preferred Skills:
Demonstrated interest and experience in online marketing, customer relationship management, and data-driven decision making
Passion for books, audiobooks, and media in general
Keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to work effectively in a technical environment and proficiency with email marketing and data analytics tools
Knowledge of German, French, Italian, Spanish, and/or Quebec French (based on location)
Experience with marketing automation platforms, A/B testing, and campaign optimization
