Position Overview The Illinois Tollway is dedicated to providing and promoting a safe and efficient system of highways while ensuring the highest possible level of service to our customers. In support of this vision, the Creative Manager will lead, manage, and organize the creative process within the marketing team, ensuring the successful execution of innovative campaigns that align with the Illinois Tollway's strategic goals. This role requires a dynamic and visionary leader who can inspire the creative team, manage multiple projects, and deliver high-quality results that enhance the Tollway's brand and public engagement.

Essential Job Functions

Lead the digital creative team, providing direction, mentorship, and support to ensure a collaborative and productive work environment. Manage the creative process from concept to completion, ensuring all projects meet the highest standards of quality and innovation. Develop and execute creative strategies that align with the Tollway's marketing and communication objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate creative elements into overall marketing campaigns and initiatives. Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and scope. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for creative initiatives. Guide the development of creative content, including graphics, videos, social media posts, and other marketing materials. Ensure all content is consistent with the Tollway's brand identity and messaging. Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to bring fresh, innovative ideas to the team. Implement new tools and techniques to enhance the creative process and outcomes. Performance Evaluation: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of creative campaign through the use of metrics and feedback to drive continuous improvement. Qualifications Education (Required)

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field. Skills and Experience (Required)

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a creative role within a marketing or advertising environment Strong leadership and team management abilities Exceptional project management and organizational skills High proficiency in creative tools and software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) Excellent communication and presentation skills High emotional intelligence and ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships Skills and Experience (Preferred)
