WHO YOU ARE:

Teton Ridge is seeking an experienced and highly organized Live Event Producer to lead the production of rodeo and Western sports events. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of live event production, from pre-show planning to on-site execution and post-event evaluation. The ideal candidate has a strong background in live sports or event production, a deep understanding of rodeo and Western culture, and the ability to manage complex logistics while delivering high-quality, engaging experiences for both in-person and broadcast audiences.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Live Event Production & Execution
  • Oversee all aspects of live rodeo event production, ensuring a seamless and high-quality experience.
  • Coordinate with event directors, production crews, talent, and technical teams to execute live broadcasts and in-venue productions.
  • Develop production schedules, run-of-show plans, and contingency strategies for live events.
  • Manage on-site production operations, ensuring smooth coordination of all elements, including live performances, sponsor integrations, and broadcast elements.
  • Manage the production of a variety of live sports programming including Rodeo Live!, pre shows, live events, halftime shows,  post shows and more.
Creative & Technical Oversight
  • Collaborate with creative teams to enhance storytelling and audience engagement during live events.
  • Work closely with broadcast partners to ensure high production value for televised and streaming coverage.
  • Oversee lighting, audio, video, graphics, and other technical components to optimize the viewer experience.
  • Implement innovative production techniques to elevate the presentation of rodeo events.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
  • Manage production staff, freelancers, and vendors to ensure efficient event execution.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for talent, announcers, and on-air personalities.
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, sponsorship, and operations teams to align event production with brand goals and sponsorship activations.
Logistics & Budget Management
  • Develop and manage production budgets, ensuring cost-effective event execution without compromising quality.
  • Oversee travel logistics, equipment rentals, and vendor negotiations.
  • Ensure all production elements comply with safety and operational standards.
Post-Event Analysis & Continuous Improvement
  • Evaluate event performance, audience feedback, and broadcast metrics to refine production strategies.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in live event execution.
  • Maintain industry knowledge to stay ahead of trends in sports and live event production.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • 5+ years of experience in live sports, event production, or broadcast production.
  • Strong understanding of rodeo and Western sports, with experience producing high-energy, engaging live events.
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale productions, including live broadcast and in-person event elements.
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of technical production elements, including video, audio, lighting, and graphics.
  • Experience working with TV networks, streaming platforms, and production teams is a plus.
  • Ability to travel extensively and work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required for event production.
