Base pay range $90,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr Collaborate with the design team to translate sketches and concepts into functional and manufacturable garments. Create detailed technical specifications (tech packs), including fabric types, trims, measurements, and construction details. Develop patterns and prototype samples to guide manufacturers in producing the final product. Oversee fit sessions and ensure garments meet the intended fit, comfort, and design aesthetics. Conduct fittings on models or mannequins to analyze garment fit and recommend adjustments. Ensure quality standards are met in the production process, from the first sample to the finished product. Work closely with pattern makers, garment technologists, and production teams to ensure designs are executed accurately. Communicate any changes or issues related to fit or construction to manufacturers and suppliers. Provide input on cost-effective materials, construction methods, and manufacturing techniques. Resolve issues related to garment fit, construction, and manufacturing discrepancies. Provide solutions for production delays, quality concerns, or material sourcing problems. Stay updated on industry trends, fabric innovations, and new techniques to bring fresh ideas to the team. Ensure designs are practical, functional, and meet consumer demand while keeping the brand’s vision in mind. Skills & Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Engineering, Apparel Technology, or a related field. Experience: 3-5 years of experience in apparel design, garment construction, or technical design. Experience in a similar role within fashion or retail is preferred. Technical Skills: Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, CAD), pattern-making, and garment construction knowledge. Attention to Detail: Strong ability to spot inconsistencies in fabric, fit, and design details. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues in the production process and provide effective solutions. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with various teams and manufacturers. Knowledge of Textile Science: Understanding of fabrics, finishes, and garment construction. Key Attributes:

Analytical and detail-oriented. Strong understanding of garment fit, construction, and production timelines. Creative thinking with a focus on technical execution. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
