Position Summary

The Multimedia Marketing Specialist is integral to the Chamber and Foundation's marketing team. This role involves producing, shooting, and editing marketing videos and conducting interviews with community and business leaders for video content. This individual must be highly skilled, enthusiastic, and professional in working with C-Suite executives, businesses, and high-profile community leaders. The specialist will also capture professional event photos and edit them using Photoshop. The Multimedia Marketing Specialist will occasionally produce, edit, and shoot videos featured in the Chamber’s signature events. The ideal candidate should be creative, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. The Multimedia Marketing Specialist will also assist with digital communications on social media platforms and emails. They may also assist in other marketing tasks such as proofreading, writing, and occasionally creating graphics using graphic tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and conduct video interviews with high-profile business executives, film b-roll, and edit video content using Adobe Premiere Pro and Bitable to create Chamber-related video marketing content.
  • Attend all Chamber events and capture requested photos and video.
  • Produce event program videos for Chamber events as needed.
  • Chamber liaison with contracted Let’s Talk Business Phoenix Podcast production company to capture episode photos and finalize and edit podcast episodes.
  • Develop and take ownership of the Chamber’s Multimedia Marketing Strategic Plan and update the video matrix.
  • Develop video marketing ideas in collaboration with supervisors and the team, draft video scripts & interview questions, and edit videos using Adobe Premiere Pro to create original video content for the Chamber’s platforms.
  • Assist in file storage management using the Chamber’s Dropbox account and external hard drives.
  • Supports the marketing team by executing update requests to the Chamber’s websites.
  • Supports supervisor, in collaboration with other team members, in producing and managing content for social media networks.
  • Manages and maximizes the Chamber’s presence on YouTube.
  • Reviews data and analytics of the marketing team’s digital strategies and provides monthly metrics and quarterly video audit reports.
  • Captures and creates video resources for the Chamber and the Foundation.
  • Captures stock photos and Chamber event photos.
  • Supports the Marketing Team with other digital needs, such as email management.
  • Assists with additional marketing collateral and other marketing tasks as needed. Performs other duties and projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Post-secondary degree or at least 5 years of professional experience in videography, photography, journalism, or related field preferred.
  • Two (2) years of experience using Adobe PremierPro, Photoshop, and Mailchimp.
  • General knowledge of traditional marketing disciplines and new marketing trends, especially social media and other new digital platforms.
  • Proficient in Windows Operating Systems, and MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint.)
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must be a self-starter and proactive with the aptitude to be results-driven and deadline-driven.
  • Detail-oriented, strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks.
  • Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings, which may include any of the following: reference checks, background checks, fingerprint clearance, and a drug test.
