Director of Admissions and Marketing
to be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with physicians and community-based referral sources. This includes increasing Medicare and overall census in the building, reviewing and assessing the appropriateness and needs of prospective residents, submitting medical documentation for review, and representing the facility by participating in community functions, events, and fundraisers. Qualifications: Must possess a thorough knowledge of principles of effective communication, mass media, advertising, policies, education, community relations, and nursing facility operations. Ability to plan, organize and effectively present ideas and concepts to community groups/agencies. Effective communication skills, both orally and in writing. Ability to assimilate information from various sources, analyze information and make recommendations. Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) preferred, but not required. Ability to establish, implement and maintain effective marketing and public relations programs. Valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle. Ability to work flexible hours and weekends as needed. Software knowledge - Outlook, Excel, Word. Core Competencies required: Strategic Skills: Dealing with Ambiguity Operating Skills: Timely Decision Making Courage: Conflict Management Energy & Drive: Action Oriented Organizational Skills: Organizational Agility and Presentation skills Personal and Interpersonal Skills: Approachability, Interpersonal Savvy, Customer Focus, Integrity & Trust, and Listening. Essential Job Functions: Develop a strong relationship with the Hospital Case Managers/Discharge Planners/Social Workers. Maintain strong relationships with area ALFs, Home Health Agencies, Retirement Communities, and Senior Centers. Develop and maintain relationships with area Physicians and recruit new Physicians to follow residents in the facility. Assist Physicians in completing the company credentialing process. Review and assess prospective residents by evaluating their medical, physical, and psychosocial needs. Apply Today!!
