Bid Writer

To working within the Bellrock Critical Engineering Division Business Development Team, reporting to the Head of Business Development, the role will be to proactively source tender opportunities via our associated portals, to read and present a bid/ no bid process in line with company procedure and once approved to complete PQQs & RFI questionnaires requested, prior to tender submissions.

To carry out appropriate research to ensure tender responses are compelling, accurate and detailed to enable the submission of a high-quality tender response solution. You will be required to work closely with your line manager, to ensure the tracker is up to date and accurate, and to liaise with other appropriate departments to ensure bids, costings and submissions are completed on time.

And as a Bid Writer with Bellrock, you’ll do it by…

• Collaborate with all departments to ensure all information is gathered in a timely manner to allow the opportunity for compelling bids to be submitted.
• Review questions and create an action plan to ensure the creation of winning bids, to ensure all responses are in line with tender specifications and response format.
• Maintain and expand the tender document library, including standard template responses, bidding process, case studies, etc.

What does it take?

• Have a good understanding of the FM business sector.
• Have a demonstrable track record of writing and submitting winning tenders.
• Can demonstrate the skill sets and experiences on their CV.
• An excellent understanding and proven abilities in compiling compelling responses.
• Excellent communication and writing abilities with an attention to detail and accuracy.
• Organised individual with the ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines.
• Good time management.
• Proven record dealing with high revenue tenders.
• UK Driving Licence.

Working arrangements

In this role, the successful candidate would be expected to be working in a hybrid role, working from The Sheffield Head Office and Leicester Office when required and home based depending on the needs of the business and those of the clients, there will be the requirement for monthly meetings at Head Office in Sheffield. The role is a full-time hours 40 per week. Monday-Friday 8.30am to -5.00pm.
