Position Summary
Progress Residential is seeking a Manager, Website Content & Digital Communications to lead the strategy and execution of resident-facing website content. This role requires a hands-on contributor who will take ownership of content development while closely collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless digital experience.
At its core, this role is about storytelling and problem-solving-translating complex processes into intuitive, engaging content that enhances self-service and reduces friction in the resident journey. You will work in partnership with UX, product, design, and marketing teams to craft website content that is clear, informative, and aligned with business objectives.
This role is hands-on and execution-focused, ideal for someone who thrives in content development while also bringing strategic thinking to improve the digital resident experience.
Key Responsibilities
Website Content Strategy & Execution
Write and edit high-quality, resident-centric web copy, including resident portals, FAQs, knowledge base articles, and digital guides. Ensure all website content is accessible, optimized for SEO, and aligned with digital best practices. Maintain brand voice and tone consistency across all digital resident communications. Collaborate with UX, product, and design teams to ensure content integrates seamlessly with digital experiences. Digital Experience & Content Development
Lead the website content refresh to improve information architecture and user flow in partnership with product and design teams. Develop content strategies that enhance self-service capabilities and reduce friction in the resident journey. Establish guidelines and processes to ensure content remains accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with business needs. Work with designers, marketing leads, and product teams to ensure content aligns with overall digital strategy and design elements. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, English, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in website copywriting, UX writing, or digital content strategy-preferably within property management, real estate, or a service-driven industry. Strong expertise in website content creation, UX writing, and digital storytelling. Ability to translate complex information into clear, intuitive, and engaging digital content. Experience working with content management systems (CMS), website analytics tools, and SEO best practices. Familiarity with mobile and app content writing is a plus. Strong collaboration skills and ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment. This role is best suited for a hands-on, strategic content professional who excels at executing high-impact digital content while collaborating closely with product and design teams to enhance the overall resident experience.
