Position Overview :
We are seeking a talented and experienced B2B Product Marketer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a masterful communicator with a knack for crafting compelling messaging and positioning. This role is pivotal in developing and executing go-to-market strategies, creating impactful sales enablement materials, and driving successful product launches. If you have a background in B2B software marketing and experience in the aforementioned industries, we want to hear from you! This could be a role for a very strong individual contributor, but there is also an opportunity to manage a team of creative resources.
Key Responsibilities :
- Messaging & Positioning : Develop compelling, differentiated product messaging that resonates with Prometheus Group’s target audiences. It is important to craft role-based and industry-based value propositions that align with customer pain points.
- Content Development : Produce engaging content such as customer stories, case studies, whitepapers, and blog posts to showcase product success and drive awareness. Collaborate with the design team to ensure visually compelling content that aligns with brand guidelines.
- Product Launches : Lead the planning and execution of product launches, coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful rollouts. Develop launch plans, including timelines, promotional strategies, and communication plans.
- The Website : PMMs are not hired to be web designers, but putting a web page or website together is a valuable tool in the utility belt. At the very least, the PMM should own all the messaging, screenshots, diagrams, downloadable offers, and customer spotlights on the home page, product pages, and solutions pages.
- Sales Enablement : Create high-impact sales enablement materials, including presentations, product decks, and demos. Train the sales team on product features, benefits, and messaging to ensure consistent and effective communication.
- Customer Engagement : Build and maintain strong customer relationships to gather feedback, identify success stories, and leverage testimonials. Utilize customer insights to refine product messaging and enhance the overall customer experience.
- Market Research & Analysis : Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape. Provide insights and recommendations to inform product development and sales strategies. Maintaining relationships with industry analysts will also be part of your market research responsibilities.
Qualifications :
- Experience : Minimum of 5 years of B2B product marketing experience, preferably with a SaaS software company. A proven track record in marketing products to manufacturing companies or companies using ERP, CMMS, and EAM providers is a plus.
- Skills : Exceptional writing and communication skills with a keen eye for detail and design. Strong leadership capabilities and the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Adept at creating compelling presentations and demo narratives that engage and persuade stakeholders.
- Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.
- Attributes : Creative thinker with a strategic mindset. Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Passionate about technology and staying abreast of industry trends.
