We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer to play a critical role in the enhancement, maintenance, and optimization of our Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform. This role is deeply technical, focusing on the development and implementation of solutions within SFMC to personalize and improve the patient journey. Working in close collaboration with Business Units and Program Managers, you will translate business requirements into robust, scalable, and efficient technical solutions within Marketing Cloud. Your primary focus will be hands-on development, ensuring the platform's effectiveness for patient engagement and driving measurable business performance improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Implement Technical Solutions:

Translate business requirements into well-structured, efficient, high-performing code and configurations within Salesforce Marketing Cloud. This includes, but is not limited to: Developing complex email and SMS/MMS campaigns, journeys, and automations using Automation Studio, Journey Builder, and Content Builder. Building dynamic and personalized content using AMPscript, SSJS, and HTML/CSS. Implementing data extensions, contact models, and data integrations within SFMC. Developing and configuring landing pages and microsites using CloudPages and Web Studio. Platform Enhancement and Maintenance:

Proactively identify areas for platform improvement, performance optimization, and technical debt reduction. Execute platform enhancements, upgrades, and maintenance tasks, ensuring system stability and optimal performance. Troubleshooting and Production Support:

Provide expert-level production support, including rapid troubleshooting, problem resolution, root cause analysis, testing, and efficient deployment of fixes and enhancements. Integration Development:

Design, develop, and implement robust integrations between Salesforce Marketing Cloud and external applications leveraging REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, OAuth, and potentially middleware like MuleSoft. Ensure seamless data flow and system interoperability. Technical Design and Documentation:

Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to contribute to technical design documentation, ensuring clear and comprehensive specifications for development efforts. Proactively document code, configurations, and processes for maintainability and knowledge sharing. Code Quality and Best Practices:

Adhere to and promote Salesforce Marketing Cloud development best practices, ensuring code quality, scalability, security, and maintainability. Implement unit and integration testing to ensure solution quality. Collaboration and Synchronization:

Work closely with other Salesforce developers (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, etc.) to ensure seamless system synchronization and data consistency across the broader Salesforce ecosystem. Collaborate on cross-functional projects and initiatives. Continuous Learning and Innovation:

Stay current on Salesforce Marketing Cloud features, updates, and best practices. Proactively research and recommend innovative technical solutions to enhance platform capabilities and business outcomes. Required Qualifications:

Deep SFMC Development Expertise:

2-3 years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer, with developing expertise across various SFMC modules and functionalities. Hands-on Coding Proficiency: AMPscript and Server-Side JavaScript (SSJS) for dynamic content and personalization. HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for email and landing page development. SQL for data manipulation and segmentation within SFMC. REST and SOAP APIs for integrations. Marketing Program Development Experience:

Proven experience developing and implementing complex, high-volume marketing automation programs within Salesforce Marketing Cloud, ideally for consumer audiences. Data Modeling and Integration Skills:

Strong understanding of relational marketing databases and experience designing and implementing data extensions, contact models, data deduplication, and integrations within SFMC. Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills:

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for identifying and implementing technical improvements and optimizations. Time Management and Organization:

Excellent time-management and organizational skills, proven to manage multiple development tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Communication and Collaboration:

Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with Program Managers, stakeholders, and fellow developers to clarify requirements and explain technical solutions. Rapid Learning Ability:

Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and master complex business processes and technical concepts within the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform. Preferred Qualifications:

Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Developer:

Active Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Developer certification is highly preferred. Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Administrator certification is also beneficial. DevOps and Version Control:

Experience with Salesforce DevOps practices and tools like Gearset and Git-based version control. Data Backup and Recovery:

Experience with data backup and recovery solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem. Integration Middleware:

Experience with integration platforms like MuleSoft for connecting SFMC to other systems. Broader Salesforce Ecosystem Experience:

Experience with other Salesforce Clouds (Sales, Service, Health, Experience/Communities, Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud Personalization/Intelligence) is a significant plus. Bachelor's Degree:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Agile Development:

Experience working in Agile development methodologies. Healthcare Industry Experience:
