ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER

Job summary:

We are seeking a talented and creative Architectural Designer to join our dynamic design team. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects including residential to commercial and collaborating with a team of skilled professionals in a supportive and innovative environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for architecture, a keen eye for design, and strong technical skills.

Responsibilities:

·       Assist with site surveying which includes photographing and field measurements.

·       Collaborate with principal and design team to develop architectural concepts and designs.

·       Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning laws, and industry standards.

·       Assist in the development of project designs, design development & construction documentation.

·       Participate in client meetings and project presentations.

·       Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite for design and visualization.

·       Conduct research on materials, construction methods, and building systems.

·       Communicate with clients, consultants, contractors, and engineers to ensure project delivery.

·       Manage project timelines and deliverables to meet deadlines.

·       Assist in Construction Administration, Site Visits & Meeting Minutes

Requirements:

·       Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or 4+ years in related field.

·       2+ years of experience in architectural design or a related field (internships or freelance work accepted).

·       Proficiency in AutoCAD & Revit. Experience w/ SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, is a plus.

·       Strong understanding of architectural principles, building codes, and construction methods.

·       Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

·       Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

·       Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

·       Portfolio demonstrates strong design and technical skills.

·       Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
