Title: Account Director
Location: Greater Boston Area (hybrid, client travel required)
Meet is partnered with an established, independent pharmaceutical advertising agency with a proven track record in delivering innovative and impactful advertising solutions. With a strong foundation in the UK, they are now expanding our footprint in the United States, starting with the Boston area.
They are looking for a dynamic and strategic Account Director to join their growing US team. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of our agency's expansion, work with leading pharmaceutical brands, and deliver exceptional results for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage day-to-day client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for key clients within the pharmaceutical sector.
- Oversee the development and execution of comprehensive advertising strategies for both HCP and DTC campaigns.
- Work closely with creative, strategy, and media teams to develop integrated campaigns that align with client goals and deliver measurable results.
- Develop and manage client budgets, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Provide strategic counsel to clients, offering insights and recommendations that drive the success of their advertising initiatives.
- Regularly travel within the Boston area to meet with clients.
- Identify opportunities for new business within existing accounts and support business development efforts to grow the agency’s client base in the US.
- Mentor and support junior team members, helping to develop their skills and provide guidance on client management.
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience working in a pharmaceutical advertising agency or related field, with a focus on both HCP and DTC advertising.
- Proven track record of managing large, complex accounts and leading cross-functional teams to deliver successful campaigns.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to offer actionable insights and recommendations.
- Willingness to travel regularly within the Boston area to meet with clients and oversee campaign execution.
