Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or equivalent.Minimum of 7 years of relevant PR and communications experience in a corporate, agency or news-based environment, with a focus on health care (e.g., medical devices, medical technology, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology). Direct to patient PR experience highly desired.Broad experience developing and executing strategic communication plans and correlating metrics while managing competing priorities.Strong media relations capabilities and experiences. Relationships with key media contacts is highly desirable.Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills with the ability to articulate complex information in simple and relatable terms.Highly organized, detail-oriented work style with outstanding follow-through skills and dedication to producing quality work.Regarded as a proven and respected business strategist and trusted adviser to key leaders within an organization.Adept at working in a team environment while also displaying independence, initiative and enterprise; ability to maintain high productivity while balancing tight deadlines.Strong interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence; adept at consensus-building and incorporating differing viewpoints into recommendations.Ability to travel as needed in support of medical congresses, internal team meetings and campaign initiatives.
