Join the firm's esteemed Bankruptcy & Creditors' Rights practice as a Paralegal, where you'll play a crucial role in supporting the attorneys and clients with the following responsibilities:
Draft and file legal documents including pleadings, motions, and UCC financing statementsCorrespond professionally with clients and interface with state courts throughout FloridaManage multiple cases, ensuring all deadlines are met and hearings are coordinated efficientlyConduct lien, judgment, and asset searches to support recovery effortsManage bankruptcy-related tasks, including monitoring filings and preparing proofs of claimAssist with collections processes, foreclosure proceedings, and repossessionsConduct title searches and prepare reports for property-related mattersSupport attorneys in all aspects of creditors' rights work, including mediations and settlement conferences
Requirements:2+ years of experience as a Creditors' Rights ParalegalKnowledge of Florida circuit courts and foreclosure proceduresStrong attention to detail and excellent proofreading skillsAbility to apply legal knowledge to complex assignmentsExceptional organizational and time management skillsProficiency in legal software and MS Office applicationsExcellent written and verbal communication skills
