The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the growth of our spirits brands within the Infinium Spirits portfolio. The purpose of the role is to protect, grow and build Infinium Spirits brands by managing demand to achieve budgeted volume, market share, and profit objectives while developing and effectively implementing marketing activities for the brands.The Senior Director of Marketing will play a key role in further accelerating growth by driving the USA brand strategy, price strategy, and business results for a portfolio of brands critical to the long-term strategic growth plan. You will champion the brands externally across the complex USA distributor landscape, working closely with the Infinium Spirits Commercial team to drive the brand’s long-term growth plans.You will work closely with the SVP of Commercial to manage and control the consistent profitable growth of the brands while providing input and direction on the brand’s long-term strategy and ensuring yearly plans and objectives are developed, implemented, and achieved. Be a key contributor to managing A&P budgets throughout the year, balancing expenditures against volume, and profitability expectations.This will include developing and executing the strategic marketing plans both national and regional, with commitment and participation from key stakeholders, so as to achieve volume, mix, market share, and profit objectives for Infinium Spirits. This role will report to the SVP of Commercial and will be based out of our corporate office in San Diego, CA.THE DAY-TO-DAYDevelop and implement marketing brand plans both national and regional for our spirits brands in collaboration with the sales and commercial teams.Develop and implement On and Off Premise channel brand strategies.Work with cross-functional teams to ensure their commitment and engagement in the plans, to deliver flawless execution.Collaborate with cross-functional business teams to deliver brand P&L targets and KPIs.Develop brand mix, pricing, priority market, customer, and channel strategies to deliver growth.Ensure strategic allocation of marketing spend based on performance & marketing mix analyses.Lead the development of marketing campaigns and initiatives that align with brand objectives and resonate with our target audience.Work closely with the sales team to develop and execute sales plans that drive revenue growth and market share gains.Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and consumer insights to identify opportunities and threats to our brands.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints including packaging, advertising, promotions, and execution at the point of purchase.Manage brand budgets and ensure that all investments are aligned with brand objectives.Ensure dollars are spent in an efficient and effective manner within budgetary parameters.Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including suppliers’ partners, distributors, and internally connected organizations.Work with the commercial marketing team to develop yearly brand standards and ensure brand positioning is clear, consistent, and distinctive across sales and commercial units.Ensure ruthless implementation of the strategic plans and brand standards across the sales function with constant evaluation of progress tracking our commercial objectives.Be a strategic part of sound packaging changes, which optimize the brand’s message and image with a clear understanding of brand values, consumer motivations, and the competitive context.Work with commercial partners through S&OP process to project demand and financial plans (volumes, pricing, portfolio mix, marketing investment) to address business opportunities and gaps.Provide training, development, performance management, and leadership to direct reports against goals and execution plans*This is not intended to be a comprehensive list of the duties and responsibilities of the position and that the duties and responsibilities may change without notice.AM I THE RIGHT FIT?Not everyone can be a Senior Director of Marketing.
